A true family business.
We're Dodgingtown Market & Deli — a family-owned neighborhood spot at 57 Dodgingtown Road in Newtown, CT. Since opening our doors in 2021, we've built this place around one simple belief: good food should feel like home.
Led by Gita Persaud and her four children — Puja, Ian, Alisha, and Evan — with Grandpa IP, Grandma Sandra, Uncle Avi, Uncle Jeff, Uncle Enio, and Aunt Sattie all part of the story. And yes, even Maximilian Wolfgang "Wolfie" Persaud, our certified emotional support bichon.
